Shrimps AW15

First seen on the amazing Susie Bubble, then Tavi (Gevinson, duh) and recently on The Blond Salad, Shrimps now has me all up on their radar.  Hanna Weiland is a London based designer and founder of Shrimps.  Her designs and visions are so fashion forward and enjoyable they make you want to: smile, click that checkout button, open your parcel, and burry your face in the luxurious faux fur.

I recently saw a quick video on Facebook about how companies cruelly beat and torture animals to get their fur and it is absolutely revolting.  There is no way I am purchasing real fur.  Ever.  Why should I when Shrimps is a thing.  An amazing thing.  Some thing that everyone needs to have on their bucket list.

Those clutches, those shoes, ugh totally me and totally reminds me of Matthew Gray Gubler and Gublerland.  Yes I am a citizen to Gublerland.  Yes it's a really thing.  I even have a passport to prove it ;)

Check out her collections!  They are stunning.

And to think this is on the AW15 collection.  You can count on more collection reviews on the blog.

AF Vandervorst AW 2015/16

I've been feeling very heavy and out of tune with what's been going on around myself lately.  This collection by AF Vandervorst resonates deeply in me and there's this unexplainable connection I have with it.  I'm more than often drawn to very vibrate colours and prints, but this has got to be one of my favourite collections thus far.  Black is a powerful colour and can say a thousand words more than others.

On a lighter note it reminds me of Swan Lake.  However last week it reminded my of global warming, which I will admit was heavily influenced by my science unit.  But that's just it, there are so many ways I can interpret this collection and I always find myself coming back to this draft and admiring it.  I'm just finally getting around to posting my thoughts.

Click here to check out the full collection.  I seriously advise you do, and share your thoughts with me!

Let It Out

An outfit combing four of my favourite pieces I own.

1. My Demi Lovato concert tee I got, which was the first real concert I went to
2. Asymmetrical skirt on sale for $10 at H&M that reminds me of Chanel
3. Bomb ass tights from Urban Outfitters on sale for $5
4. Brogue inspired heels I got for Christmas

My school had a short day a few days back, so everyone got let out early.  I took the opportunity to take some photos for the blog because I'd been wanting too for quite some time.  I wish I could wear these tights everyday because they are stunning.  But for hygienic reasons (or so I tell myself) I have to restrain from doing so.

It almost totally slipped my mind to tell you guys, but I got a role in my school's play and I'm so stoked!  We're also going to be competing in the Sears Drama Festival in a few months.  Apparently my school hasn't in 10 years so I'm quite nervous.  Even as I type this I can feel my stomach lunching and I think there are butterflies, too.  AHHH!

Yes, this is for all those HSM fanatics out there.
Yes, I have a HSM hat.
I also have HSM stickers, and stationary.
Jealous?

B&W Out-takes

Thought I'd post some out-takes I did for a post that will go up after this one.
Just a series of not-your-average selfies you could say.

Romeo & Juliet

For English we went to see the play Romeo & Juliet.  It was not at all what we were expecting and frankly we were quite disappointed.  Who wears skinny jeans and sweaters in Romeo & Juliet?  Apparently in their version anything goes.  GGGGGrgggeeeee... What's that?  Oh that's my 26$ going down right the drain.

The only fun part of the day was after the play when we didn't have to go back to school.  A couple of friends and I scavenged the area looking for good scenery to take pictures.  There wasn't too much, but it was fun taking pictures.  This was what I wore that day.

I had been working on distressing this pair of jeans that I thrifted, perhaps two months back.  I was originally going to make it into shorter shorts, but I ended up really liking that they were midi shorts.  Something we don't see enough of.

Outfit details:
Top: Mom's
Jeans: Thrifted
Tights: Random pair from my closet
Shoes: G.H. Bass & Co.
Belt: Christian Dior
Rings: H&M

Top Ten Topshop Shoes: Nov/15 (Tripple-T-S)

Perhaps a new series for this blog called Top Ten Topshop Shoes AKA. TTTS or Tripple-T-S.  Let me know if you would like it and if there's other brands you want me to do.
These are in no particular order and if I could blow these pictures up without making it pixelated I would.
I'v really been in the inspirational mood lately as you might tell from all my latest post.
I would also only be able to wear 1/10 of these shoes in fall and winter in real life.  But this ain't the time for practicality.
Enjoy :)
